About the Speaker

Linda Clement attended Powertalk International (formerly International Toastmistress Clubs) for 17 years, practicing and teaching public speaking and evaluation skills, while serving in every office at the club level, and many offices at the Region level. Wanting to expand her influence in childrearing, Linda went to Powertalk to get much better at public speaking, after nearly a lifetime of practice in opportunities as varied as wedding speeches, Remembrance Day ceremonies, and poetry recitation at the Greater Victoria Arts Festival ~ where she totally forgot every part of the poem, including the title, as soon a she stepped on stage.
